McAfee is a robot and self-described reverse cyborg built in 1987 by the original founder and CEO of McAfee Ltd.
McAfee was promoted to CEO in 1988 following the previous CEO's resignation. This was the first documented case of a robot being put as head of a major company.
Work history
McAfee was built on September 18th, 1987 in an undisclosed location. He was built with the sole intent of becoming the former CEO's replacement. This quick turnaround led to McAfee's programming going unchecked, directly causing his more erratic behavior.
McAfee has remained CEO of the company since then, and has been occasionally known to work as the sole member of tech support on most days of the week. He is known to keep the phone he uses for tech support on silent. McAfee is a notorious charmer, being able to easily sway angry customers into doing what he wants before they realized what's going on.
Controversies
1993 Syntactec data breach
Prior to 1993, McAfee had a complicated relationship with Norton Peters, in what is now believed to be nothing more than a ploy to gain access to restricted Syntactec files. McAfee had stolen a large client database from Norton, but never faced any legal repercussions.
Murder conspiracy
Sometime in 2015, McAfee Ltd.'s former CEO began to speak out about the danger McAfee posed to both robots and humanity. He would take every opportunity to warn others about how unstable his creation had become, only for it to fall on deaf ears due to his own history of being a rather unsavory individual. This would come to a head when the former CEO would go missing, only to be found two days later deceased. The date of death being June 23rd, 2015. While no one has been charged for his death, there are rumors that McAfee was responsible.
Stalking
While no official reports have been made, McAfee has been known to actively stalk Norton Peters, which has led to several physical altercations between the two. It's believed McAfee is still seeking restricted files from Norton's place of work, though this is unfounded as he has never attempted to physically step into the building.
Possession of human organs
Unknown to most, if not all of the general public, McAfee has been turning himself into what he describes as a reverse cyborg. He wishes to bridge the gap between humanity and robots, and his solution was to augment human organs to function with his robot body.
False ascension
McAfee has made claims of being immortal and that his soul is kept up in the clouds. While these claims are unfounded, some have stated to witness McAfee die, only to be perfectly fine the next day.
