Azure, also known by the codename Project Windstorm, is a robot designed and programmed by The Corporation. Most notably the project was left in the hands of Sam Whistler’s team.
It remains unconfirmed what their job at The Corporation would have been, as the project was cancelled and deemed a failure. An internal error prevented Azure from waking, and no amount of troubleshooting would fix the issue. Azure would later be abandoned in the vault that resides deep within the bowels of The Corporation.
Conception & development
Project Windstorm was conceived in 2006, with Sam Whistler and his team managing the project. The project would be in development for two years, with Azure being built in 2008.
Information on the project is sparse, though it was noted that Whistler took extra care in the design aspect for Azure.
Cancellation
The project was swiftly canned despite the amount of time and money spent as Azure was unable to properly function. Upon being powered on, they'd be completely unresponsive. Rather than sink more money into the project, The Corporation pulled the plug on the entire thing.
Azure would be brought into the depths of The Corporation where they were meant to remain among various other canned projects.
Descent & awakening
Azure had been given information by Saint Cypress that their father was still alive. This jumpstarted their descent from the heavens to Earth to seek him out.
Sometime in the 2010s, there were reports of a robot escaping from The Corporation's building. Any further information regarding this incident is very hard to come by as most, if not all of the records have been wiped.
